So, today JPMorgan’s stock rose because it lost less than analysts predicted.  Man, I would love to find a job where I get a bonus because I sucked less last year than my boss expected me to!

So we’re all sitting at dinner earlier this week. K, with a hint of exasperation, says to Miss S something about eating with her fork and not her hands. Miss S turns to K and says, sincerely with a genuine curiosity, “Mama, am I deaf?”

… mostly filler, don’t you think? We do. And here we’ll occasionally write about the filler we find interesting. Or the filler we find maddening. Or cute. Or not. We’re just getting started here, so if you’ve stumbled upon us before we’ve even changed to a customized template, you won’t find much. But we’ll get there.
